MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA

For the building of Leek Tulips, overhead doors and sliding doors have been chosen. Behind these doors, the bulbs are stored in the summer. In the winter, the flowers are stored behind the doors. Some doors contain a wicket door for easy access to the premises. In addition to storing the bulbs and flowers, it is easy to drive through them. A number of doors are electrically operated and have a remote control. This allows pallets and large containers to be driven in easily.

The overhead doors are cold bridge free and ensure that the heat is kept out. As a result, the flowers and flower bulbs remain beautiful for a long time and can be stored properly. "We have little maintenance on the doors and if there is any problem, Salco is close by and they will be with us in no time," says Arjan. OVERHEAD AND SLIDING DOORS

Several PKD-100 sliding doors have been installed. These doors have a good seal, thanks to the all-round sealing by means of double rubber profiles. In addition, these sliding doors are optimally accessible. At Leek Tulips, several doors have been placed next to each other and can slide in front of each other. This creates one large sliding wall, allowing efficient loading and unloading.

Besides the sliding doors, a number of overhead doors have also been installed. The T-280K overhead door is cold bridge free. This overhead door has a high insulation value and is therefore suitable for cold stores. The T-280K overhead door can be used almost everywhere, thanks to the very large variety of rail systems. Overhead doors have also been installed at the docking station. Trucks can easily connect to this station and load their cargo here.
