That is why we approached Salco again for this project," says Jeffrey. "Because of our good experience with Salco in the construction of our cold store in Sweden, for example, they now also received the order for Cool Port."
Hermetically sealed
The High Speed Freezer Doors (Airlock) are suitable for very frequent use with high opening and closing speeds. In addition, they are hermetically sealed and easy to integrate into the conveyor system, such as at Cool Port. Jeffrey is very satisfied with the operation of the doors. "The door works very well, it does what it is supposed to do. The door closes quickly and fits well on the conveyor, so that no cold air escapes or warmer air enters the storage cell."

The cooperation between Salco and Cool Port also went smoothly, says Jeffrey: "Salco thinks along with us, they are pragmatic and accessible in communication. Although they are not from the city, in my experience they do have the Rotterdam mentality: 'keep working and shut up'. A nice compliment that we are proud of! At Cool Port, they are very satisfied with the doors. "The High Speed Freezer Doors (Airlock) are exactly what we expected. They keep the cold inside the cell and have a good price/quality ratio", Jeffrey concludes.
